This
is a maple lover's dream! Three-dimensional highly flamed maple
is found everywhere with great attention to detail and theme. I
am told this is the Maple Grand Concert currently found on Jim Goodall's
website. And the sound is just as beautiful as it looks: wonderfully
warm, balanced, with great sustain and overtones. |

The
highly flamed, honey colored AAA Maple is used throughout: back,
sides and two-piece halved neck! The body, fingerboard and headstock
is also bound in maple, along with fine black line purfling (nice
detail around the fingerboard). The headstock is covered with horizontally
flamed maple veneer, as well as the truss rod cover and the heelcap
on the neck. |

The
Master Grade Engelmann top has a custom bent cutaway, accented with
an abalone rosette with lots of color, protected with a clear pickguard.
Abalone is also used on the back strip
and endpin seam. MOP diamond markers decorate the Ebony fingerboard
and bridge. The bridge pins and endpin are also enhanced with MOP
dots. |

The
headstock is adorned with an abalone Goodall logo with gold Schallers.
The top nut and saddle (fully compensated) are bone. Includes the
OHSC. |
